The below error comes up
when accessing My Site > Newsfeed >Everyone:
Error:
The operation failed because the server could not access the distributed cache.
To
fix this, try the following:
The
account that is running the distributed cache service under (SharePoint servers > services.msc)
should have permission for My Site web application and user profile service
application.
Also
need to add the service application account to Mysite web application
permission and also to user profile service application permission.
You also may need to recreate work management service application.
Stop and start the App fabric cache service from server's services.msc
